How lucky can one guy be?
Several years ago, I had the privilege, along with 999 other gamers, to test out Blizzards 'Battle.net' as one of 1000 Beta testers... what an Awesomely fun experience that was... it was in conjunction with the release of 'Diablo' and I had a freaking blast!
Now, along time past, and I get the chance to Beta Test the new StarCraft II and the Battle.net 'revised' they are going to release with it. Oh what fun!
how lucky can one guy be?
here is the message I just read... I'm about to click play for the first time, but figured I'd make a post just before this momentous occasion. :-P
The quote:
"Welcome to the StarCraft II Beta Test!
You are among the first in the world to try out the next generation of Battle.net and participate in the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty beta test. Your feedback is an important part of this beta. Please let us know what you think by pressing the “Feedback” button within Battle.net to send us any comments, feedback, or suggestions on StarCraft II or the new Battle.net service."
and now... I press Play. :-P

I thought you had won a bunch of money or something, but playing a video game is cool too :) have fun. you're living Brandon's dream.
hehe, the lottery would have been a close 2nd to the privilege of beta testing one of BLIZZARDs games. :-P
Tell Brandon hi from Uncle Wade! Soon he and Ryan will be 13 at which time I doubt I'll ever win a video game against them again. heh.
GREAT OPPORTUNITY, Wade!! Even for us Non-Game-Players, we recognize the 'monumental privilege' it is to be among the first testers in the whole WORLD! We love you and are happy for your exciting experience! Love, Mom ps: Did you LIKE it??
ya, it's great fun! It's kinda like that 'WarCraft II' game that Dad used to play - I bet he'd like it too.
