Family Vacation in Oregon!

What a Fun time I had in Oregon this past week! I got to see lots of Family and I got to totally relax, I mean seriously, you know your totally relaxed when you forget to kick it because your too busy chillin!
I'm going to throw up some pics something I have been a bit lax in doing in former Blogs. I think a bit of AV help will be a welcome relief.
Ok, there were tons of activities going on while I was there, 3 Golf games I could have gotten in on, a Trip to Astoria, where I could have had the pleasure of seeing the one and only Randilicious (can't believe I missed out on that one! sheesh! There was a Tour of the Tillamook Cheese factory... a Sea Fishing Excursion, a Crabbing session off the pier - seriously there was no shortage of fun things to do.. but guess what, those things are the list of some of the things that I DIDN'T do!
For my vacation I chose to chill by the beach, read books (by the beach, or at the very least with the ocean peaking at me from a window,) watch Olympics while squinting in to the setting sun, play a bit of X-box 360 (once again, lovely beach setting in the back ground... can't forget that,) Eat wonderful meals with Family (Steak Fry anyone?) I ate at a wonderful coastal restaurant called Georgies a couple of times as well. (the Salmon prepared in a black Berry Glaze is to die for,) and I really enjoyed playing Settlers of Catan in the evening with the fam.
The Kids were fun to hang around... I'll admit it - My Nephews can Kick my Can in some of the video games... that would be more understandable if it weren't for the small fact that my oldest nephews are 8 and 6... and they both got perfect Scores at Soul Calibur IV against me... It's so humbling to admit that... oh man. But I'll fess up and try to be a graceful loser - so, Ryan and Brandon to both of you I offer a salute, and a hearty congratulations on your win - I'm looking for a rematch soon!
hmm, I promised some pics, let me get those in here: (It's getting late n I wana sleep some before tomorrows big day back at work so I'll do descriptions later on these.)

Wow, Wade!!! What WONDERFUL pictures!! I LOVE 'em!! Wasn't that a FUN Family Reunion Vacation??!! I think we all have fantastic memories from the whole experience, and I'm THRILLED that you captured so much on film like this. Thanks so VERY MUCH for taking the time to post these gorgeous views of our family and for your synopsis of the GREAT times we were having. Lots of Love to you, your mom
Awesome pics!!! That ol' 4mp Nikon does wonders in the hands of a true professional such as yourself. I think my fav. was the panoramic view of the foggy coast line, where you'd have to know that was a light house way off on the very right hand side, to know it was a light house. (yeah, that was articulate, I know.) Kind of a wierd one to have as my fav., but somehow it just speaks to me.
Also loved: Dad on Rock, Crab Dude Up-Close, and the amazingly professional looking purple flowers pic. w/ the extraordinary sunset-ish view of the coast behind the flowers (your title pic). As well as the one of the path down to the beach.
Hmmm. . . .and actually, I loved all the others. Photography seems to be your gift. -- er actually, one of your many. (and, no, I wouldn't put 'dominating Soul Caliber IV' on the list, if I were you. ;)
Awesome pics, bro. It was good being there w/ ya!
Wow!!! Gorgeous pictures, and great recap of the trip. We still need to download ours. We FINALLY got our internet up and running. How long have you had this blog going? I just added it to my links, so I hope it's one you plan to keep updated, so I can check in on you. Do the photography thing more often... you got talent!
